What needs to be done in preparation?

Our technicians will move furniture, with the exception of pianos, entertainment centers, and beds. We also cannot move anything if there's breakables on it, so make sure to move your picture frames, lamps, knick-knacks, etc. We will move your couches, chairs, dining room tables side to side and clean underneath them; we will leave them on a foam block when we leave. Vacuuming is helpful also!

How far in advance should you call To schedule?

Depending on the time of year and your location, we usually can get you in within a couple of days. We do have emergency services available 24-7 also. 

What is our coverage area?

We are West Michigan based, with offices in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Muskegon, Holland, Kalamazoo, and Battle Creek. We do have a standard fuel charge, and a trip charge for more outlying areas.

Do we use any dangerous chemicals?

All the products we use are citrus based, safe for your kids and pets, as well as the environment. We leave your carpet at a neutral position, not too acidic, not too much on the alkaline side either

What forms of payment do we accept?

We take cash and checks. We also take Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. 

Do we offer gift certificates?

Giving the gift of carpet cleaning is perfect for birthdays, Christmas, Mothers Day, or just because. You can purchase gift certificates for a set amount, or for a number of rooms.  We can taylor the gift accordingly.

Can you adjust your appointment after scheduling?

Upon arrival, you may realize that you forgot about the basement or maybe that the couch should be cleaned as well. No worries, we can add or subtract any services that are needed/not needed. We allot time for adjustments between appointments. 

Do we handle water Issues?

Having a water issue is no fun, but calling us can make the process a little less stressful. We can get that taken care of, and have that area looking like normal in no time. With 40 years of experience doing water restoration, L&N is superior in this field; being installers, we can pull back your carpet without causing damage and we can reinstall the padding and the carpet to the original state it was in.

What about pet issues?

We're the pet issue experts, with Tom and Jerry there's no cat and mousing around with urine issues.  We have a 3 stage process for all your pet problems, and can get them taken care of  for you. All our technicians are trained in pet stain/odor removal and the products we use make it seem effortless. 

What is our process for duct cleaning?

We'll come in and take off all your register covers. We use a truck mounted vacuum system, and go down each register with a hard bristle brush that spins and scrapes all the dust from the inside of the duct. We clean all the way down to the furnace, but not the furnace at this time. We include an odor neutralizer, which makes it so you don't smell that stale dust smell. We put your register covers back on and that's it!
